Voluntary surrender storage · Statewide Nevada
Free to you. No cost, ever.
The bank said they'd come get the car. But when?
You gave up the vehicle in your bankruptcy. It's still sitting in your driveway, and you're still insuring it, still registering it, still responsible if something happens to it. We take the car into our Las Vegas storage yard, take the liability off your name, and deal with the lender ourselves until they send a truck. It costs you nothing.
Who's carrying the car after you surrender it
Lenders routinely take weeks or months to collect a surrendered vehicle. The question is who's holding it during that window.
Insurance, registration, theft, weather, and HOA notices all still running
Custody transfers the day we pick it up
What we take on
A car you no longer own can still cost you every month.
People filing bankruptcy tell us the same thing: the surrender is done on paper, but the vehicle is physically still theirs to worry about. Here's what stops being yours the day we pick it up.
Insurance you're still paying
Drop a policy on a car you're still holding and you're exposed. Once it's in our yard, that premium is no longer protecting someone else's collateral on your dime.
Registration and renewals
Nevada doesn't care that you filed. Tags keep expiring and citations keep issuing while the car sits at your address.
Theft, damage, and vandalism
A vehicle parked and unwatched for months is a target. If it's damaged while you're holding it, that conversation with the lender lands on you.
HOA letters and tow threats
Expired tags in a Nevada HOA community draw notices fast. Street parking and apartment lots are worse. We move the car before it becomes a fine.
Chasing the lender
Calling a loss-mitigation department and getting transferred four times is our job now, not yours. We open the file, give them the location, and follow up until they schedule.
Not knowing when it ends
You get a dated custody receipt and a location on day one, plus a note every time the lender's status changes. No wondering.
The parking space it's eating
In an apartment lot or a driveway with one assigned spot, a dead car is a spot you can't use. Clearing it out frees the space for whatever you drive next. Out with the old, in with the new.
Relaying updates to your attorney
You shouldn't be the messenger between us and your law office. We copy your bankruptcy attorney on the custody receipt and every status change through to final release.
How a handoff works
Four steps, and most of them are ours.
The order matters here. Each step depends on the one before it, and nothing moves until you've told us to move.
You call and tell us where the car is
Same day · about 10 minutes
We'll ask for the year, make, model, lender name, and whether the vehicle runs. There's nothing to price out, because the service is free to you. This call is just us confirming it's a fit. If your bankruptcy attorney is handling the surrender paperwork, give us their name and we'll bring them into the loop from here on.
We collect the vehicle
Typically within the same week
We come to your home, apartment lot, or wherever it's parked. We cover all of Nevada, from the Las Vegas valley to Reno, Carson City, Elko, and the rural counties in between. Running or not. You hand over the keys and sign a custody transfer that's dated and records the VIN, the odometer, and photos of the vehicle's condition at pickup. We take over from there.
It goes into our storage yard
However long the lender takes
The vehicle is stored on our secured Las Vegas lot. From the moment we take custody, keeping it safe is on us. You are not maintaining it, insuring it, or answering for it.
We work the lender until they collect
Until the truck shows up
We notify the lienholder in writing that their collateral is available, give them the release location and hours, and keep following up. When they send a recovery agent, we release the vehicle and send you and your attorney written confirmation that it's gone.
For bankruptcy counsel
The surrendered-vehicle problem, off your desk.
Every consumer bankruptcy practice in Nevada has the same recurring call: the client surrendered, the creditor hasn't picked up, and now the client wants to know what to do with a car in their driveway. We're the referral for that call.
- Your client stops calling your paralegal about the car.
- Dated custody documentation and pickup photos for your file.
- Ongoing status updates to your office, not a black box until release.
- Written confirmation to you when the creditor takes possession.
- Free to your client, so the referral is never an added expense.
- We coordinate with the lienholder directly, copying your office.
- Statewide collection, so you can refer regardless of where the client lives.
Set up a referral relationship
We'll walk your intake staff through the handoff, provide the forms your clients will sign, and give you a direct line so a referral takes one call. No cost to your firm.

What people ask us first.
Does this affect my bankruptcy case?
Storing a surrendered vehicle is a logistics service. We handle the physical car. It does not change your filing, your discharge, or what you owe. Your bankruptcy attorney is the only person who should be advising you on the case itself, and we'd rather coordinate with them than around them.
Am I still on the loan?
Whatever your loan situation is, it's between you, your lender, and your attorney. We don't take over the debt and we don't pay it. What we take over is the physical vehicle and the responsibility for keeping it safe until the lender collects it.
What if the car doesn't run?
That's common and it's fine. Tell us when you call so we bring the right equipment.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. There is no pickup fee, no storage fee, no paperwork fee, and no bill at the end. You are not asked for a card, a deposit, or a signature on anything that charges you.
People are right to be careful with the word "free," so ask us on the call and we'll explain exactly how the service is paid for. Anyone who won't answer that question plainly is not someone you should be handing a vehicle to.
How long will you keep it?
As long as it takes the lender to collect. Some send a truck in a couple of weeks; some take months. That uncertainty is exactly the thing we're taking off your hands.
Will my bankruptcy attorney know what's going on?
Yes, and that's on us to maintain, not you. Give us your attorney's office when you call and they receive the custody receipt, every lender status change, and the final release confirmation as it happens. You'll never have to relay a message between us and your law office.
Can I get my belongings out first?
Yes. Clear the vehicle out completely before we arrive. Once it's in our custody, we're storing a vehicle, not personal property.
Get it off your driveway
One call and it stops being something you think about.
Tell us what you've got and where it's parked. We'll tell you straight whether we can help and how soon we can be there, and it won't cost you a dollar either way. If we're not the right answer for your situation, we'll say so.
